The Zero-G Expandable Hose
I really hate fighting a hose, but I really need to water my plants and flowers. While selecting my flowers last spring, I came across a fabulous invention. The Zero-G Expandable Hose! I love this convenient garden hose. I no longer have to drag a heavy hose, or even the big reel cart, from bed to bed just to water my bushes and plants. Such a huge improvement. My back is grateful.
Because don’t like the unsightly looks of a hose laying around, I purchased a small flower pot to house my expandable hose. That also turned out to be the perfect choice. The flower post doesn’t look out of place left in my front yard flower bed. Therefore, I can now leave it coiled up right underneath the outdoor water faucet that is not visible until you are literally standing over it.

Turns out, I was right with that initial observation. It is very durable. I also liked that it is drinking water safe. I don’t normally drink from the hose myself, but my puppies definitely expect a drink when we are watering flowers and plants.

Choose the Right Expandable Hose Length & Weight
If weight is a factor for you and you don’t have far to go from the water faucet, I would always opt for shortest hose that will work for you. However, purchasing one that isn’t long enough renders it useless. The 25 ft. length only weights slightly more than 1 lb. The 50 ft. length (shown above) weights 4 lbs. and the 100 ft. length weights 10 lbs.
